Ion Pacific Co-Leads Moove Series C Round Alongside Woven Capital, Led by Mubadala, at $2.1 Billion Valuation

AMSTERDAM — August 5, 2026 — Ion Pacific, the global venture capital firm, today announced it has co-led the Series C funding round for Moove, alongside Woven Capital, Toyota’s Growth Fund, with Mubadala Investment Company leading the round. The financing establishes a $2.1 billion post-money valuation for Moove.

This investment marks the next phase of Ion Pacific’s long-standing partnership with Moove, as the company scales from a global mobility platform into the infrastructure layer for autonomous mobility. Ion Pacific has supported Moove across multiple stages of growth, providing flexible capital solutions as the company expanded from its origins in Africa into a global mobility infrastructure business serving major platform partners, including Uber and Waymo.

“Having partnered with Ladi and Jide through multiple stages of Moove’s growth, we have had a front-row seat to their exceptional execution and the scalability of the Moove platform,” said Michael Joseph, co-CEO of Ion Pacific. “We are pleased to expand our commitment by co-leading this Series C round, supporting Moove as it builds the infrastructure required to scale both manned and autonomous mobility globally.”
In conjunction with the investment, Mr. Joseph will join Moove’s board of directors. His appointment brings deep expertise in structured finance and global capital markets to Moove as it enters its next phase of growth, including the continued expansion of its autonomous mobility operations through its partnership with Waymo.

“Michael and the Ion Pacific team have been incredible partners to us since our early days,” said Ladi Delano, co-Founder and co-CEO of Moove. “Their ability to provide creative capital solutions through our various stages of growth has been vital. We are excited to welcome Michael to the board as we scale Moove’s global platform and build the infrastructure layer for the autonomous mobility economy.”

Strategic Highlights:

  • Long-term partnership. This investment highlights Ion Pacific’s long-term relationship with Moove and its ability to support high-growth companies across multiple stages of development.
  • Having previously supported Moove’s growth, Ion Pacific is now stepping up as a co-lead investor in the company’s Series C, as Moove scales its global infrastructure platform across manned and autonomous mobility.
  • Global Scaling. The capital will support Moove’s global fleet growth, both in manned and autonomous ride hailing. Moove currently operates 42,000 vehicles across 29 cities and 13 countries. Its autonomous operations are live in Phoenix and Miami through its partnership with Waymo, with future operations announced in London.
